The 2022 Atlantic Hurricane Season begins today, June 1st, and ends on November 30th. It's never too early to begin preparing for hurricane impacts that might affect Jones County. As Hurricane Katrina proved to us most vividly, you don't have to live on a coastline to still have severe impacts from a hurricane.
