Scam Alert

Scammers are calling Jones County residents falsely telling them they have outstanding JCSD arrest warrants. The scammer continues by saying the intended victim must pay fines or be arrested. This is a total scam and residents should just hang up if contacted by anyone telling them that they owe fines and must pay with a debit card, money card, or by a cash app on their cell phone. That is not how the Jones County Sheriff's Department does business.
