Severe weather is generally expected to start in northeast Louisiana around 1 PM and trek northeastward into central Mississippi later this afternoon. These storms are expected to produce large hail, damaging wind gusts, and Tornadoes, some potentially strong. Please remain vigilant and tune into NOAA weather radio and local news outlets for latest updates on this ongoing event. If you do find yourself under a tornado warning, seek shelter immediately. Additionally there is an elevated risk for flash flooding, particularly south of US 84. Do not attempt to drive into flooded roadways.
